Is the Demo Practice Exam Scored?

Yes. Every Demo sitting is marked just as a paid Oracle certification practice exam is: the moment you submit the last item, DBExam reports how many of the ten you got right, out of the number asked, as a count and a percentage, and then opens a full question-by-question review.

There is no report to send off for and no wait — the result lands at the end of the last item. One thing the screen holds back is a verdict: it does not brand the sitting a pass or a fail. It gives you the figures and the review, and the review is where a Demo earns its keep.

What the Demo Result Screen Shows

When the sitting closes, the summary gives you three things:

  • how many you answered correctly, out of the ten the Demo asked;
  • that same result written as a percentage;
  • a way into the full review of every question you sat.

What it does not put on that screen is a pass-or-fail mark; DBExam does not read the result for you. A separate listing of your attempts keeps each completed sitting with its score, so runs can be set side by side later, but the summary in front of you stays with the figures rather than reaching a judgement about them.

Reviewing Your Oracle Demo Answers Afterwards

The review runs on the Demo exactly as it does on Premium. It steps through all ten questions, marks which options were right and which were wrong, and — where an explanation has been written for the item — sets out why the correct answer is correct. So a question you missed — whether a WHERE filter keeps or drops a NULL row, say — becomes something you can work out and learn from rather than a bare tick or cross. That feedback is the reason to sit the Demo at all: it turns ten questions into a short, honest read on where you stand.

So yes — you get a real, marked result and the review to go with it: a right-out-of-asked count, a percentage and an explained, question-by-question review, and never a pass or fail stamped on the result screen. It is a genuine measure, just a brief one.
