Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications validate cloud skills for architects, developers, operators and data professionals. The 2026 Professional exams below each have 50 questions in 90 minutes, and most need 68% to pass. The table also includes Autonomous AI Database, Oracle AI Database on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, APEX and Oracle Analytics Cloud exams.

Which exam should you take?
- Cloud architects: 1Z0-997-26 Architect Professional; for migrations, 1Z0-1123-26 Migration Architect Professional.
- Developers and DevOps engineers: 1Z0-1084-26 Developer Professional, 1Z0-1109-26 DevOps Professional, 1Z0-1042-26 Application Integration Professional, or 1Z0-771 APEX Cloud Developer Professional.
- Operations, security and networking: 1Z0-1067-26 Cloud Ops, 1Z0-1104-26 Security, 1Z0-1124-26 Networking and 1Z0-1111-26 Observability (all Professional).
- Data and AI: 1Z0-1110-26 Data Science, 1Z0-1158-26 Enterprise AI, 1Z0-1159-26 Agentic AI for Oracle AI Database and 1Z0-931-26 Autonomous AI Database.
- Multicloud database: 1Z0-1146 (AWS), 1Z0-1147 (Azure) and 1Z0-1148 (Google Cloud) Oracle AI Database Architect Professional exams.

How many questions are on OCI Professional exams?
The 2026 OCI Professional exams have 50 questions in 90 minutes. The passing score is 68% for most, and 70% for the two Oracle Analytics exams (1Z0-1175-26 and 1Z0-1177-26).
Which OCI exam should a beginner take?
Oracle's entry exams are OCI Foundations Associate (1Z0-1085-26: 40 questions in 60 minutes, 65% to pass) and OCI Architect Associate (1Z0-1072-26). Check Oracle University for the current version before you book.
Are OCI exams updated every year?
Yes. Oracle releases a new version of most OCI exams each year; the last two digits of the code show the year, for example 1Z0-997-26.
