The 2026 OCI Professional exams have 50 questions in 90 minutes. The passing score is 68% for most, and 70% for the two Oracle Analytics exams (1Z0-1175-26 and 1Z0-1177-26).

Which OCI exam should a beginner take?

Oracle's entry exams are OCI Foundations Associate (1Z0-1085-26: 40 questions in 60 minutes, 65% to pass) and OCI Architect Associate (1Z0-1072-26). Check Oracle University for the current version before you book.

Are OCI exams updated every year?

Yes. Oracle releases a new version of most OCI exams each year; the last two digits of the code show the year, for example 1Z0-997-26.
